Booked 11 Opens With a Crowd!

On Saturday, March 1st, BAR held its opening reception for Booked 11.  Everyone enjoyed looking at the books created by the members.  There were 65 works, by 37 artists.  So much to see!

The variety in form was wonderfully intriguing - from the shape one typically thinks of for a book, to books which belong on the wall, to one which lights a room, to others which are really rather sculptures, to one which is interactive, to...  I think you get the picture!

And of course there was food to help celebrate!

Congratulations to BAR for putting on a great show - the 11th year for this annual show.  Also, a big "Thank you" to Liz Demaree for chairing the committee, and to the BAR members who helped do the work.
