Getting the BAR started with a bang in the new year, Chuck Miley taught a paper engineering workshop on January 9th titled "Basic Pop-up Techniques: tailored to your needs".
Everyone came prepared with questions and materials to work with in between the instruction periods.
We were all inspired by the examples Chuck brought and by seeing each other's experiments.
The more complex versions of familiar forms of pop-ups...
I just wanted to put in my personal comment--I finally GET it. This is fun and something I could do myself on my own. Chuck mixed instruction with what he called "play time" and it was a good way to learn--to immediately try out what you could make the technique do!
